Coronavirus on the Costa Blanca


As in all of Spain, the incidence of corona continues to rise on the Costa Blanca.

In the Valencia region, the current risk of infection is still quite acceptable compared to many other European countries. Nevertheless, the regional government is thinking about introducing the "Covid Pass" and "3G" in the short term.

The average 14-day incidence across the country has risen from 132 to 160, and the seven-day figure is 92 (22 November: 79).

The seven-day incidence in the Valencia region has increased from 75 to 95 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

In the Marina Alta with the capital Dénia, the 14-day incidence has risen to 161 corona cases per 100,000 inhabitants (as of 24 November). For comparison: on 21 November it was 128.

In Denia, the 14-day incidence as of 24/11/2021 is 126.
